GORSHINE – The Road Goes Ever On – Making of

Biography
Stemmed from an idea of Italian guitar player Raffaele Vicenzi aka Drheaven, Gorshine is the music expression of a team of people held by the same hardrock/heavy metal experience.

In January 2011 Gorshine began to track some stuff of his debut album “The Road Goes Ever On”. First, Drheaven is supporting by a group of Italian musicians who embraces the idea of this album — to rearrange some of the original themes contained in J.R.R Tolkien’s novel..

Pre-production at Officine Meccaniche Recording Studios ends in April 2011 when Gorshine’s management decides to move to Los Angeles to complete the creation of the album. Waiting for Drheaven there are musicians such as Teddy Andreadis (G ‘n’ R, Carole King, Alice Cooper, Micheal Jackson) Brian Tichy (Whitesnake, Ozzy Osbourne, Billy Idol) and Eric Dover (Slash, Alice Cooper, Jellyfish) which respectively on keyboards, drums and vocals will give life to the superband which is, to all intents, Gorshine.

With the help of facilities such as NRG and Paramount Recording Studios and joined the production by Teddy Andreadis, Drheaven and the Italian producer Andrea Lepori complete in less than 9 days the tracking of a 10 new songs inspired-as mentioned-by Lord of the rings.

Then, in the album also appear two female voices to counteract the power of guitars, are Sonia Rizzo-promising young Italian pop/rock voice and Heather Donavon-refined and versatile American singer.

All male vocal lines were written by grunge singer Diego Kode Codevilla, who also sings three songs of the album.

The May 7, 2012 is released by Interscope Distribution the single “Hollywood Tracks” containing two tracks-In Western Lands and Skarlet Balk that anticipate the official release of “The Road Goes Ever On” set in July 2012.

At the end of this month Gorshine will come back in America to work with one of the most important American rock producers, Ben Grosse (Marilyn Manson, Alter Bridge, Sevendust, Depeche Mode, 30 Second to Mars …)

Produces the new single album in North Hollywood with some special guests.
